Job description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisory Senior Program Manager to support an anticipated federal program onsite at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.


The selected candidate will lead program management activities supporting Department of Defense initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal financial management regulations, quality assurance standards, and information technology investment reporting requirements. This role requires extensive experience in IT program management, strategic planning, compliance, and stakeholder engagement within a federal environment.


The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership experience managing technical programs, overseeing compliance initiatives, and collaborating with senior government officials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex federal programs and technical initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD financial management regulations and federal accounting requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of financial and program documentation.
  • Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support IT investment planning and strategic program initiatives.
  • Prepare and coordinate required federal reporting activities.
  • Develop program plans, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Present program updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Support continuous process improvement and compliance efforts.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT Technical and Program Management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DoD capital investment planning, strategic planning, technical analysis, or compliance.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal financial management regulations and accounting requirements.
  • Experience performing quality assurance reviews.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Experience presenting to senior government leadership.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance required.
