Part-Time Host's Wanted!

We're hiring part-time hosts! Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swim school that teaches children ages 3 months through adult how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.

Job Description :

Do you enjoy children? Do you like interacting with families? If so, this position could be a great fit for you! As a deck host you will be the face of Waterworks Aquatics. You will be charged with providing a memorable customer experience to our families.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Warmly greets families and conduct touch-free temperature scans
  • Help families scan into the kiosk and answer their questions
  • Direct families to their lessons or to the front desk for assistance with their accounts
  • Assist families with regards to questions on Waterworks retail and snack shop items
  • Sanitize high touch surfaces throughout the facility on a regular basis
  • Maintain a dry and clean floor throughout the lobby and entrance at all times
  • Restock and conduct proper restroom checks on all restrooms and shower / changing areas
  • Open door and / or provide additional assistance to families (when needed)
  • Understand all our aquatics programming, facility amenities, and instructors / office team members so that you are equipped to respond to questions from our customers
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility at all times
  • Assist with giving tours to interested new families
  • Help boost morale and maintain a positive work environment

General Qualifications :

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Prior customer service experience is not required
  • Must enjoy interacting with people and possess a friendly demeanor
  • Must be able to take initiative when speaking with families
  • Must be open to feedback and receptive to change
  • Must be able to communicate well with our customers and students
