Job description
Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor in Los Angeles.

Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer 896
Location: Downey, CA 90242 (Remote)
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $50-$55hour

Description:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise with Oracle and other DBMS platforms (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Skilled in SQL tuning, indexing, execution plans, and performance monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting (Bash, Korn, Bourne, C Shell).
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Actian/Pentaho.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
  • 3+ years writing shell scripts to execute SQL scripts.
  • 5+ years optimizing Oracle performance (Query Optimizer, Execution Plans, Indexes).
  • 5+ years developing client-server applications with Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, and TOAD.
  • 5+ years with table functions, partitioning, collections, materialized views, analytical functions, and transportable tablespaces.
  • 2+ years of data warehouse and ETL experience.
