Position Summary

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Warehouse and production processes. This role will be responsible for performing daily cycle counts, including both physical inventory and handling unit-managed inventory.

Position Responsibilities

• Supporting Warehouse operations by conducting inventory counts and ensuring accuracy across systems

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with all federals, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to occupational safety.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet specified standards and requirements. Identify any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities and report them to the appropriate personnel. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production-related quality issues. Use the Physical Inventory Count checklist as provided by Warehouse leadership.

• Work documentation: Accurately complete production logs, work orders, and other required documentation to track production progress and maintain production records. Enter data into computer systems or databases as needed.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any production-related issues.

• Communication: Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

• Basic math skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.

• Excellent teamwork and communication.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as stand up type forklifts, pallet jacks, with appropriate certifications is required

• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to prioritize workplace safety.

• Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience using SAP is preferred

• This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes tree nuts. Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where tree nuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air.
