The Branch Manager II is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the bank branch, focusing on achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and financial performance. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive team culture. The Branch Manager II will lead a team of banking professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving sales targets and developing client relationships. Additionally, this position requires a strong emphasis on risk management and operational efficiency, with the manager analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in banking, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies that align with the bank's goals. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the branch's reputation and profitability while ensuring a seamless banking experience for customers.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the branch to achieve or exceed goals for deposits, new accounts, referrals, and loan production.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.

  • Foster a high-performing sales and service culture through leadership, coaching, and accountability for branch team members.

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.

  • Manage staffing, employee development, and performance to maintain a motivated and productive team environment.

  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal audit standards.

  • Originate and close consumer and small business loans (generally up to $100,000 exposure) and assist with loan portfolio administration.

  • Maintain knowledge of bank systems and processes to ensure operational effectiveness and data integrity.

  • Represent the bank in community and professional activities to strengthen relationships and support business development.
