Food Service Worker NOW!

DPS is now hiring a Food Service Worker for a Facility in Lubbock, TX. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Food Service Worker Job Details:

Location: 1715 26th Street in Lubbock, TX 79411 (May need to travel)

Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Hours may vary)

Starting Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hourly (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Food Service Worker Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve quality food and baked goods following menus and standards.
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, sanitation, and temperature controls.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely, especially knives.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and kitchen floors clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Assist the Manager with food, meal preparation, completing and submitting daily reports to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records in line with policies.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Food Handler Certification (as required).

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of food service, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work quickly under pressure.
