Job Description
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.
Conveys materials to or from storage.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Counts, weighs and records material received and issued.
Opens containers, using hand tools.
Receive and put up materials in proper storage locations.
Provide production lines with material in a timely manner.
Visually inspect and compare parts for quality and document results.
Maintaining machinery and work area clean.
Complete production documentation and reports.
Report malfunctions to appropriate staff.
