Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Build and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, relational models, queries, and application integrations.
  • Automate business processes and workflows across multiple functional areas.
  • Integrate applications with SQL Server, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Maintain and enhance existing production applications.
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with technology, security, and business teams.
  • Follow established application lifecycle, change-management, Agile, and DevOps practices.

Role Requirements
  • 5-10 years of relevant application-development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong SharePoint Online development experience.
  • Strong SQL Server development skills.
  • Experience with stored procedures, relational database design, indexing, joins, performance tuning, and database objects.
  • Experience building integrations using SQL and other Power Platform connectors.
  • Demonstrated experience building and supporting production business applications.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, or a comparable financial environment.
  • Strong requirements-gathering, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City at least three days per week.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Power BI and Dataverse experience.
  • Alteryx experience.
  • SPFx, React, HTML, and CSS development experience.
  • ServiceNow, JIRA, Bitbucket, or Jenkins experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
