Job descriptionJob description: * Lead and motivate the project management team by creating vision, accountability, and opportunity. * Establish annual division goals and monitor progress toward achieving them. * Drive project profitability through oversight of forecasting, billings, change order management, and project performance. * Review operational and financial reports to ensure division success. * Maintain and strengthen customer, supplier, and subcontractor relationships. * Support and oversee pre-construction, estimating, and proposal efforts. * Develop and mentor Project Managers through evaluations, coaching, and targeted training. * Monitor staffing needs and participate in hiring decisions for the division. * Foster and maintain a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism across the team. * Ensure ethical leadership and professionalism in all business operations. Qualifications: * Minimum of 15 years of mechanical construction experience. * Engineering license preferred. * Strong knowledge of mechanical system costs and budgeting practices. * Proven leadership and supervisory experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. * Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and develop employees. * Strong understanding of project profitability, forecasting, and operational metrics.
