Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: VA License required or proof of compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, American Heart Association certifications required Must-Have: Epic charting experience required First-time travelers are accepted Locals are allowed at the same rate Specialty experience within the last year is required Description: The position requires two years of experience in Labor and Delivery. The unit accommodates 250-300 deliveries per month. There are 12 labor rooms, 2 ORs, 2 PACU beds, 4 AP rooms, and 3 OBT rooms. High-risk patients are part of the patient demographic. Candidates must have a supervisory reference for submission. Floating may be requested based on facility needs. Candidates must maintain minimal requests for time off during the assignment. No additional time-off requests will be approved after an offer is made. NIH and stroke education are required for RNs. All candidates must have relevant certifications and licenses attached at submission.
