Crown Staffing has an urgent need for Diesel Mechanics in the Kansas City, Mo area.Diesel Mechanic (Entry Level) Job DetailsSchedule: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-FridayPay Rate: $18-24 Depending on experienceLocation: Kansas City, MODiesel Mechanic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Standard personal Mechanic Tools required
  • Diesel technology certificate or vocational training preferred.
  • 0–2 years of diesel mechanic experience (shop experience or internships welcomed).
  • Basic understanding of diesel engines and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to read repair manuals and follow written instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

About the Diesel Mechanic RoleAs a Diesel Mechanic your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication.
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend repairs.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts using proper repair procedures.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
  • Operate diagnostic tools and basic shop equipment under supervision.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities
