Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a Project/ Program Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Project/ Program Manager, you will be an integral part of the project management office supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Project/ Program Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $67/hr.

What's the Job?

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for AI programs, including discovery, prototyping, pilot, and production phases.

• Partner with cross-functional teams such as AI Product Owners, Framework Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, and Regulatory Experts to manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and governance.

• Establish and maintain integrated project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives.

• Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies through RAID logs with clear ownership and mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate cross-team delivery, monitor budgets, vendor engagement, and resource allocation to ensure project success.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in Agile and hybrid project/program management methodologies.

• Strong understanding of AI delivery lifecycle, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of security, compliance standards, and responsible AI governance practices.

• Basic understanding of Python, FastAPI, LangChain, RAG workflows, and database concepts is a plus.
