Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a Project/ Program Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Project/ Program Manager, you will be an integral part of the project management office supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Project/ Program Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $67/hr.
What's the Job?

Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for AI programs, including discovery, prototyping, pilot, and production phases.

Partner with cross-functional teams such as AI Product Owners, Framework Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, and Regulatory Experts to manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and governance.

Establish and maintain integrated project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives.

Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies through RAID logs with clear ownership and mitigation strategies.

Coordinate cross-team delivery, monitor budgets, vendor engagement, and resource allocation to ensure project success.
What's Needed?
-
Proven experience in Agile and hybrid project/program management methodologies.

Strong understanding of AI delivery lifecycle, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Knowledge of security, compliance standards, and responsible AI governance practices.
-
Basic understanding of Python, FastAPI, LangChain, RAG workflows, and database concepts is a plus.
