IPRE is an interdisciplinary applied research and experiential-learning institute at the University of Oregon. IPRE provides planning, policy, and technical assistance to Oregon communities.
The University of Oregon’s Institute for Policy Research and Engagement seeks to create a pool of qualified candidates to fill periodic vacancies for pro tem research/project management positions. All positions would be funding contingent, part-time, temporary assignments with an appointment of up to one year, but with the possibility of renewal for up to a total of three years depending on need, funding, and/or performance. Appointments would be as research assistants, conducting research, or project management under the direction of a principal investigator. Examples of current and past projects can be found at

• Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning, Public Administration, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
