Job Description

Build Your Career in Construction – Project Coordinator Opportunity

Ready to take the next step in your construction career? We’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven Project Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.

If you enjoy fast-paced work, staying on top of details, and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly—this is your chance to grow into a Project Manager role with a clear path forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keep multiple construction projects organized, on track, and running efficiently
  • Manage important documents like drawings, proposals, specs, and purchase orders
  • Track submittals, approvals, and updates so nothing slips through the cracks
  • Support pre-construction planning, ordering materials, and preparing jobs for the field
  • Work closely with Project Managers, field teams, and vendors to keep communication flowing
  • Stay ahead of deadlines with strong follow-up and problem-solving

What You Bring to the Table

  • 2–4 years of construction experience
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Clear, confident communication with both office and field teams
  • A proactive mindset—you don’t wait for problems, you solve them

Tools & Experience

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Project management software (Monday.com is a plus)
  • Bluebeam experience is a bonus
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents (RFIs, drawings, submittals)

What You’ll Get

  • $55,000 salary + performance review after 120 days
  • Medical coverage (90% paid for employees + dependents)
  • Dental & vision options
  • Paid time off + company holidays
  • Clear career growth into Project Engineer → Project Manager
  • Stable, growing company with long-term opportunity

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Why This Role Stands Out
This isn’t just a coordination job—it’s a launchpad. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all phases of construction and have a clear path to advance as you build your skills.

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Construction industry experience (2-4 years required)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Experience using project management systems (Monday.com preferred)

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam construction software (plus)

  • Ability to read, track, and manage construction documents (RFIs, addenda, drawings, submittals)

Project Coordination Skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong document control skills: organizing proposals, take-offs, POs, specs, drawings

  • Experience tracking submittals, approvals, and revisions

  • Ability to coordinate pre-construction tasks, ordering requirements, and field preparation documents

  • Skilled in gathering complete and accurate information early in the project lifecycle

Communication & Collaboration

  • Clear, professional communication with internal teams (PMs, Estimators, Detailers) and external partners (GCs, Erectors, Suppliers)

  • Ability to enforce deadlines and follow up consistently

  • Comfortable communicating with both field teams and office staff

  • Strong accountability and follow-through

Work Style & Personal Attributes

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Proactive, self-directed, and does not require micromanagement

  • Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment

  • Problem-solver who anticipates issues and prevents delays

  • Reliable with excellent follow-up habits

Compensation

• Salary: $55,000 annually
