Our Personal Bankers play a key role in allowing our valued clients to see LifeDesign in action. By delivering outstanding, caring service, our Personal Bankers demonstrate our commitment to help clients get where they want to be.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Personal Bankers provide the highest level of customer service in a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to all employees, clients, and the community.

  1. Maintains a superior knowledge of all Bank products and services
  2. Maintains knowledge of client facing digital technologies
  3. Demonstrates our LifeDesign approach to banking with colleagues, clients and in the community
  4. Team player and supports the goals of the banking center with proactive activities
  5. Achieves individual sales/referral goals
  6. Responds to all client questions, problems, and concerns in accordance with predetermined SLAs
  7. Provides a high level of customer service and uses our Care Process
  8. Utilizes the client's relationship profile, each and every time, to uncover additional needs.
  9. Opens new consumer and business accounts, following our Life Design sales process
  10. Takes all consumer and home equity loans and onboards the client through the process
  11. Handles more complex client interactions and provides clarity
  12. Serves as a Peer Buddy or coach.
  13. Processes all teller transactions efficiently and accurately
  14. Adheres to bank operating policies and procedures
  15. Promotes mortgage, consumer, and commercial loan activities.
  16. Balances teller drawer daily and adheres to our Teller Accuracy Standards Policy
  17. Ensures confidentiality of customer information
  18. Ensures the security of the banking center and follows all security policies and procedures.
  19. Conducts outbound phone calls to our clients to deepen relationships.
  20. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Eligible for Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System(NMLS) registration
  • Eligible for Notary Public commission

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Minimum six months retail banking experience
  • Previous banking experience required, including processing customer transactions, deposit account openings, and platform services to serve a broad range of customer needs e.g., check orders, debit card issuance, stop payments, debit card/ACH disputes, etc.
  • Prior customer relationship building experience
  • Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
