We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Shipfitter position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry. Qualifications :
Multi Pass tack welding
Must be able to Stick weld, 12 inch stick weld
Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test
Burning Oxygen / Propane burning torch
Heating Oxygen / propane hating Torch
Blueprint readings
Comprehend fractional dimensions
Air Carbon arc Gouging
Grinder and needle gun
Ability to comprehend complex structural assembly drawings, and sketches to include symbols, material type, datum and reference lines
Hours :
1st Shift-7am-3 : 30pm
2nd Shift-3 : 30pm-12 : 00Am
3rd Shift- 10 : 00pm-6 : 00am
Must be open to all shifts
Pay : 45 Hr
135 Per diem if you qualify
