Job description

Whether you come from a background in training, education, instructional design, or a related field, you can be successful in this role. We don’t require a specific degree or experience, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. We will provide you with the training and development opportunities needed to build a career here!

About The Role:

As a Learning and Development Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our co-workers learn and grow. You’ll design engaging training experiences, build meaningful curriculum, and support the delivery of programs that help teams succeed. Whether you’re creating instructor-led sessions or digital learning, your work will ensure our training is clear, effective, and aligned with business goals. Depending on your focus, you may specialize in training delivery or eLearning design, but either way, you’ll help create learning experiences that truly make an impact.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

  • Designing and building instructor-led or eLearning courses that meet federal, state, and industry guidelines.

  • Partnering with leaders, subject matter experts, and managers to create clear learning objectives and course outlines.

  • Creating engaging training materials, job aids, and supporting resources that make learning stick.

  • Managing the scheduling or deployment of training programs across the company using learning tools and systems.

  • Supporting trainers, managers, and co-workers by providing guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices.

  • Updating and improving training content based on feedback, business changes, and regulatory updates.

  • Jumping in where needed to support the team and strengthen our culture.

About You:

  • You enjoy both the creative and structured sides of building learning experiences, from writing content to designing visuals.

  • You’re comfortable learning new tools and technology, especially in a digital or online learning environment.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently, whether you’re writing content or collaborating with others.

  • You care about creating a great experience for others and bring a strong customer service mindset to your work.

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with co-workers across teams.

  • You stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with training, curriculum development, or instructional design.

  • Familiarity with adult learning principles or learning theory.

  • Experience creating eLearning content or using learning management systems.

  • Skills in graphic design, video editing, or tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

About Us:

We’re all about helping Veterans and military families become homeowners. In two short decades, we closed over 500,000 VA Loans and became the #1 VA lender for homebuyers in the nation. But to us, success isn’t measured in numbers. Our success is measured in living our values every day: Be Passionate and Have Fun, Deliver Results with Integrity and Enhance Lives Every Day. We always strive to provide friendly service to military homebuyers and their families. And we always seek to lift up people and communities across the country.

We’re so glad you’re here checking out this opportunity! If this role gets you excited but you’re worried you don’t check every box – don't sweat it. We’re more interested in what you can bring to the team than a perfect checklist. If you’re passionate, driven, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Come as you are, and together we’ll create something amazing.
