Job description
Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Akron, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Mobile Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems across multiple locations. Our team is looking for a hands-on professional who can help keep building operations safe, reliable, and running to standard.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs for mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems across multiple facilities.
- Travel between facilities to ensure proper function and support ongoing building operations.
- Maintain preventive maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance activities.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to support optimum HVAC system performance while following safety and housekeeping standards.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience required.
- Experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, with 5+ years of HVAC background noted in the description.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification and EPA certification.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Ability to analyze commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
