Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionThis role involves developing manufacturing methods to produce parts that consistently meet or exceed customer requirements. The focus is on continuous improvement of processes by enhancing current methods and developing new manufacturing techniques, leading to increased yields and reduced labor content.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, evaluate, and implement formal problem-solving activities, cost reduction initiatives, and part/process improvement activities.
- Provide general technical support by collecting data and supporting manufacturing needs.
- Prepare quotations by developing material, scrap, and labor costs for cost modeling.
- Provide input based on customer specifications for BOM, routings, and milestone plans. Offer manufacturing support fixtures and dies.
- Support process development for prototypes, instructions, and data analysis.
- Troubleshoot, validate, and qualify equipment design, build, and procurement.
- Conduct time studies and develop cell layouts.
- Collect data and analyze part number scrap reduction and yield improvement.
- Analyze shift labor efficiencies and effectiveness, conduct cost modeling, and implement tooling changes.

Work EnvironmentThe position is on-site, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 7 AM and 5 PM. The role involves time split between the manufacturing floor and the office.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
