Job Description : Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage Protection Engineer to design, analyze, and test protection systems for medium- and high-voltage electrical systems. This role requires expertise in power systems protection, electrical safety standards, and hands-on experience with power conversion systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and optimize protection systems for medium and high-voltage electrical systems interconnected to low-voltage based power conversion systems via medium-voltage transformers.
- Perform power system studies (e.g., short circuit analysis, protection coordination, arc flash hazard analysis) in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct electrical testing on medium- and high-voltage equipment in accordance with industry standards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform failure analysis and validation for interconnected power converters products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, safety, and performance.
- Document system designs, test results, and compliance reports, providing regular updates on project milestones.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is Pay Range (Applicable to California) $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 dependent on level of experience.
