What you'll do

Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in analytics. As an Analytics & BI Expert, you'll build long-horizon analytics tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls. Expect to build scenarios across : - Ad-hoc analysis : business questions with a known correct answer from the underlying data, SQL queries that return a specified result set

Experimentation : A / B test readouts where lift, significance, and guardrails have ground-truth values
Measurement : metric definitions with defined SQL, funnel and cohort analyses with expected numerical outputs These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus. Who we're looking for - BS or MS in a quantitative field; 3+ years as a data / BI analyst at a data-mature company
Expertise in one or more of the following : advanced SQL, experimentation and A / B testing, metric design, BI-tool development (Looker, Tableau, Mode, Hex, Metabase)
Comfortable reading and producing analytics artifacts : SQL queries, dashboards, experiment readouts, metric specs
Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics
Located in the United States or Canada Compensation $70–$100 / hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
