Ensure planning, executing, controlling and closure of testing assignments and responsible for schedules, resource allocation and managing testing assignments. Setup test teams (who will execute the project). Identify, develop, and document applicable testing methodologies and procedures to ensure quality output. Review the test plan and strategy with all the stakeholders of the project. Drive execution of test strategy by ensuring alignment of test plans and techniques. Also estimate the testing effort by understanding the requirements of the project. Regularly review progress and manage stakeholder communication to ensure that expectations are managed. Collaborate with development teams to improve overall product quality by emphasizing ways for defect prevention. Ensure schedule and effort compliance and overall project management. Identify means of improving productivity. Define and track various relevant metrics. Suggest and apply the usage of relevant tools, as applicable. Align with the new developments in the testing domain and keep the team updated. Ensure cross skilling across various sub teams within the project/engagement. Facilitate induction and transition pack preparation.
