Job Description

:

Position Summary: The Repair Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out and documenting various investigations related to existing, potential, and perceived product and process failures received back from the field. Assisting the Repair Coordinator team with troubleshooting and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hands-on trouble shooting of Orascoptic manufactured Medical Devices (e.g. loupe and light systems); determine root-cause and document necessary repair / rework required to bring product back to 100% performance criteria.
  • Documentation of repair/rework to be completed in Oracle.
  • Updating the complaint record (Q-module) with evaluation findings.
  • Interact with various disciplines including engineering, manufacturing, and customer service in a collaborative team environment.
  • Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.
  • Reads, comprehends, and complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • High attention to detail and patience required.
  • Versatile and able to work on multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with an electronic process for managing and documenting product failure analysis (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Access, Excel)
  • Able to understand product applications, specifications, functionality, structure, assembly and test methods/processes
  • Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$21.10 - $25.80 per hour
