Registered Nurse Unit Manager
$36 - $38 per hour
Job Summary:
Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a s250-bed killed Nursing Facility, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. As a Unit Manager, you will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and implementing the facility's quality assurance program for the Nursing Services Department.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Services Department
Participate in the maintenance and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the Nursing Services Department
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Develop and maintain effective communication with staff, families, and physicians
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program
Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
At least 2 years of Supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Care Environment preferred
Full-time position
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not necessary
