Job description

RSAC is the premier series of global events and year‑round learning for the cybersecurity community.

RSAC is where the security industry converges to discuss current and future concerns and gain access to experts, unbiased content, and ideas that help individuals and companies advance their cybersecurity posture and build stronger, smarter teams.

Both in‑person and online, RSAC brings the cybersecurity industry together and empowers the collective “we” to stand against cyberthreats around the world.

RSAC is the ultimate marketplace for the latest technologies and hands‑on educational opportunities, helping industry professionals discover how to make their organizations more secure while showcasing the most enterprising, influential, and thought‑provoking thinkers and leaders in cybersecurity today.

About the Role We're looking for a Senior UX Strategist to lead the re-architecture and consolidation of two existing websites into a single, scalable platform.

This is a contract engagement focused on strategy, structure, and user experience — not visual design (we have a creative designer in-house).

The right person will bring a strong point of view on how to organize content, build intuitive navigation systems, and set up an information architecture that can grow with the business.

What You'll Do Audit the content and structure across both existing websites Develop a unified site map and navigation architecture that merges both sites into one cohesive experience Define a scalable page hierarchy and content categorization framework Create wireframes for key page templates (homepage, landing pages, interior pages, etc.) Establish URL structure, internal linking strategy, and heading hierarchy optimized for SEO Advise on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices — structured data, content clarity, and formatting that performs well in AI-generated search results Collaborate with our in-house creative designer to hand off wireframes and structural direction Document the IA and UX rationale so it can guide future site growth What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience in UX strategy, information architecture, or a related discipline Proven experience leading website redesigns, ideally projects involving site consolidation or migration Deep expertise in information architecture — site mapping, taxonomy, navigation design, and content modeling Experience with content migration planning and redirect mapping (301 strategy) Familiarity with CMS platforms and how IA decisions impact CMS setup Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (URL structure, heading hierarchy, internal linking, content siloing) Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how AI-powered search tools surface and cite content Experience working alongside or handing off to visual/creative designers Strong communicator who can articulate the "why" behind structural decisions Engagement Details This is a contract engagement supporting a phased website redesign and migration.

Phase 1 delivery is targeted for October 2026, with a final migration completion in June 2027.

We anticipate this being a full-time commitment through Phase 1, with more flexibility during Phase 2, with the potential for work delivery prior to June 2027. The anticipated hourly rate is $75 - $125 for this position, with flexibility based on qualifications and experience.

Our Culture We believe that our differences make us stronger, and we are committed to fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

We are a fully remote team operating across the United States, giving our employees the flexibility to work from wherever they choose.

Our team is passionate and results‑oriented, striving to achieve excellence in everything we do.

We strongly believe in creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and encourages our team members to share their unique perspectives.

We recognize that by collaborating and working together, we can achieve our goals faster and more effectively.

Why RSAC?

The RSAC team takes great pride in helping shape the future of cybersecurity and being part of an expansive global community.

We’re always looking for imaginative and visionary individuals who share our passion for providing cutting‑edge programs that equip cybersecurity practitioners worldwide with the intel and knowledge they need to thrive and safeguard organizations against cyberthreats.

Our Values Adaptability:

  • In our ever‑changing world, we innovate through determination, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Community:

  • We bring people together and build trust by embracing the unique thoughts and perspectives of others with kindness and respect.

Excellence:

  • Because we are where the world talks security, we have the highest expectations of ourselves and our partners.
  • Equal Opportunity Statement RSAC is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion and diversity.
  • We take affirmative action to ensure all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. Powered by JazzHR
