American Disposal Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business throughout Northern Virginia while delivering the service our customers have come to expect. In this role, you'll build relationships with business owners, property managers, HOA leaders, and community stakeholders, helping them find solutions that fit their needs while creating long-term value for their organizations.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
• Build relationships with business owners, property managers, HOA boards, and community leaders.
• Meet with prospective customers to evaluate their waste and recycling needs.
• Prepare and present service proposals and pricing recommendations.
• Negotiate service agreements and secure new business.
• Partner with operations, customer service, dispatch, and leadership teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Stay informed on local market conditions and competitive activity.
• Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity within company systems.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals while supporting a culture of safety, service, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
• Previous waste industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in waste and recycling services, construction, property management, environmental services, transportation, or business-to-business sales is a plus.
