Description : Position Summary :

Assembler 1 is responsible for the assembly and test of Client cardiology products per the written procedure and quality systems requirements

Position Responsibilities :

  • Perform bench assembly, testing and packing on sub or finished unit assemblies according to assembly procedures (i.e. BOM, DHR, Work Instructions, etc.).
  • Ensure use of most up to date procedures by using ERP system (SAP).
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies which does not require a technician.
  • Complete all appropriate forms and DHRs legibly and correctly for the assemblies they are working on following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Cross train into multiple positions / products as directed by production supervisor
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor
  • Adhere to the Quality System.
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in their work.
  • Apply continuous improvement thinking by suggesting improvements for their work areas and job functions to reduce costs and lead time.
  • Follow standard work (manufacturing procedures) as written. Essential competencies :

Education and prior work experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Requirements for this position include 0-1 years manufacturing assembly experience
  • Prior experience in a medical device company a plus

    • Skills and abilities :

  • Fluent in English (both written and oral)
  • Ability to read and understand Work Instructions and Bill of Materials
  • Basic Computer skills
  • 0-1 years’ experience working with SAP

    • Physical demands and work environment :

  • Physical Demands : Up to 30 lbs. lifting
  • Ability to sit and / or stand throughout the workday.
