Responsibilities
Provides training to teach technology courses in-person or virtually to large audiences ranging in size using developed curriculum and approaches. Demonstrates mastery and utilization of learning theory, adult learning principles, and active learning. Addresses specific training needs and customize sessions for different audiences as needed. Adapts to emergent shifts of training environment and pivots in delivery with agility to ensure individuals attention to audience. Utilizes training methodologies and tools to ensure that training remains engaging and effective. Identifies potential opportunities to further explore by diagnosing gaps and developing solutions to course correct as needed. Provides recommendations and potential solutions, as needed, to enhance training experiences for all audiences. Solicits survey responses, collecting “success stories” and enter data into the organization’s CRM system. Coordinates with partner site staff for programming and supports recruitment efforts, and participates in trainer meetings, training events and special events, and other duties as needed/assigned (ex. outreach, curriculum, volunteer engagement, etc.). Engages and leads volunteers who assist classes, as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience leading in-person education programs with audiences of 10+ attendees. Working knowledge of Salesforce. General working knowledge of mainstream technologies. Proven ability to explain complex technical information to all audiences. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Colorado Initial Teaching License or Colorado Professional Teaching License AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.
