Job Details:

Mercer University's Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track faculty positions. The faculty will teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the Macon campus.

Responsibilities:

In addition to teaching in the traditional BSN track on the Macon campus, faculty will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession and higher education through scholarship and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. These positions require on-campus presence and are not virtual appointments.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Master's in nursing from an accredited university/college

• Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Philosophy commensurate with Mercer University's mission and values

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in nursing or related field

• A minimum of two years of full-time academic experience

• Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise

• Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards

Degrees Offered — Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Three tracks: traditional BSN track, second degree accelerated BSN track and RN-BSN completion track), Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner), Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP and Post-Master's DNP), and Doctor of Philosophy in nursing (BSN to Ph.D. and Post-Master's Ph.D.). There are also multiple certificate programs. The Macon campus traditional BSN track started in Fall 2025.
