Compassionate In-Home Caregiver / CNA

Job Summary:

A Place at Home - North Texas is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team of passionate professionals providing high-quality in-home care services to seniors in Allen, TX. Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Assist with medication management, mobility, and ambulation as needed

• Prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and perform laundry duties as required

• Provide emotional support and engage in conversation with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being

• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in client condition to the on-call nurse

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Valid CNA certification in the state of Texas (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients safely and comfortably

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
