Porter / Shop Assistant – Entry-Level Opportunity

Costa Auto Care and Tire – Oakland, CA

Costa Auto Care and Tire is a fast-paced, high-performing auto repair shop looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter to join our team. This is an entry-level role, but it’s also a starting point for growth—many of our top technicians began right here.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Wash and detail customer vehicles after service
  • Perform quality control checks on vehicle cleanliness
  • Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized
  • Move customer vehicles in the lot as needed
  • Shuttle customers to and from the shop
  • Pick up parts from local vendors
  • Check in and log delivered parts
  • Assist technicians and service advisors with daily tasks

Requirements:
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Punctual, dependable, and coachable
  • Able to stay on your feet and move throughout the day
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Schedule & Pay:
  • Full-time or part-time available
