Essential duties and responsibilities include:/pulliResponsible for completion of all aspects of cash application to the Salesforce accounts receivable subledger, including the daily cash application to customer accounts, resolution of customer credit balances, support in the preparation of customer statements, and other accounts receivable support functions/liliManage the accounting for all non-AR miscellaneous cash receipts/liliManage resolution for other cash disbursements, including non-subledger cash disbursement routings to accounts payable department, daily cash reporting to management team, and similar cash reporting needs/liliResponsible for completion of various monthly close journal entries for various accounts/liliResponsible for preparation of various balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis in relation to assigned accounts/liliReview of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis/liliReview of the accounts receivable agings and assistance to others with receivables collection support as needed/liliAccounting for the companys fixed assets related to the Denver corporate entity/liliAssist in the preparation of various schedules for annual audit and quarterly reviews/liliAssist in the design, development, documentation and implementation of internal controls/liliActing as the primary contact when interacting with department managers, accounting colleagues, and other departments with respect to areas of individual responsibility/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpMinimum qualifications include:/pulliBachelors degree or higher in accounting or a related field/liliAt least three years of experience progressively responsible accounting experience, including work directly related to monthly accounting closes and financial statement analysis/li/ulpPreferred qualifications:/pulliCPA preferred/li/ulpSpecific knowledge, skills abilities:/pulliDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)/liliHands on proficiency of Microsoft Office applications required with advanced knowledge of Excel/li/ulpWorking conditions and physical demands:/pulliWork is typically performed indoors in an office environment.
