Description
Essential Functions:
- Develop a mental performance program as well as skills training materials.
- Deliver programs to athletes, coaches, parents and or other groups.
- Develop and ongoingly monitor and track outcomes for the program.
- Coordinate the PI/Quality program, to include identification of quality metrics as well as ongoing monitoring, modifying and data collection around these metrics.
- Identifying opportunities to improve clinical quality and to initiate strategies to improve care, this includes leading projects around such improvements.
- Coordinate/Complete any required documentation for the program in order to meet regulatory, efficiency and payment/authorization requirements.
- Coordinate clinical education activities designed to augment clinical quality programs and or initiatives.
- Work with departmental leadership and the quality team to report and refine the program, perform audits, collate data, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
- Demonstrate effective collaboration with community and other services while maintaining patient rights.
- All other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - Masters degree in Social Sciences, Social Services, or Psychology
Certifications - Licensed Professional Counselor License – South Dakota Department of Social Services Certifications/Licensures
Preferred:
Certifications - Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC)
Experience - 1+ years Sports Medicine Experience; 1+ years Psychiatric Services Experience; 1+ years Behavior Health Experience
Physical Requirements:
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
