Learning & Development Coordinator will be assisting with the administration, planning and coordinating, of training programs utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS). Monitors the effectiveness of training. Collects feedback from attendees. Supports training program design and enhancements. Assists in the development and creation of courses, labs and pathways.
Hybrid Option: 3 days in-office / 2 days homeESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions for this position include but are not strictly limited to:
Instructional Planning - Create, support and track onboarding programs and required training.
- Execute on new-hire sales courses and labs as well as learning path directed overall knowledge bases.
- As directed, support collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders leading to the creation of repeatable, measurable and effective national courses and pathways.
- Delivers company training programs and workshops to employees and managers.
- Creation and maintenance of programs related to specialized, specific, group needs and topics as directed by manager.
- Contributes to new training program design and existing program enhancements.
Training Administration - Maintain accurate training records and provide compliance-related documentation as needed.
- Monitors the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results.
- Provide administrative support and track onboarding programs and required training.
- Provide accurate and data-driven reporting and analysis of all programs.
- Collect and report on learner feedback and performance outcomes. Assist in maintaining a calendar of review dates in-line with company protocols and cadences.
Needs Analysis - Partner, as directed, with subject matter experts on creation and administration of programs.
- Assist in needs analysis activities as directed.
Effectiveness Measuring - Test courses prior to delivery for learner experience and functionality.
- Coordinate reporting distribution for users of the LMS.
- Based on results, feedback, surveys and utilization, support analysis of the effectiveness of the course or program.
Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Tuff Shed management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)- Knowledge of tools such as Schoox, Go1, LinkedIn Learning, or similar
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to gather and interpret training-related data
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
- Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that support a professional image for Tuff Shed
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, Managers, suppliers, co-workers and managers
- Familiarity with AI-enabled features within LMS platforms
EXPERIENCE - Experience with LMS platforms
- Familiarity with iSpring Suite, Jira, Camtasia, Canva, EasyGenerator - pluses
- Experience in a corporate, manufacturing training environment
- Experience establishing standardized Instructional Design approaches that are repeatable and uniformed across all organization's Instructional Design functions
- Experience working with complex topics, research, or source material
- Experience working directly with subject matter experts and comfortable navigating a variety of personalities and working styles
- Experience in user-centered design
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES - EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field, preferred.
- CERTIFICATIONS
- Industry accreditation Instructional Design/Training Certification, desired
