Job description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Principal Electrical Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Melbourne, FL
Shift : Friday - Sunday 12hr shifts
Training Period: 4-6 weeks Mon-Fri 40hrs/ week

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
  • Troubleshoot HW & SW solutions
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach
  • Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment (e.g., documenting something that is already built)
  • Support automated test software development
  • Review, and verify automated test procedures that will drive software changes required to support operations
  • Present project / technical status to peers, internal management, and customers.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline with 3-5 years’ experience or in lieu of a degree 8-9 years’ experience.
  • Test Stand and LABVIEW certification or trainings with a background in aerospace.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $75.00/hr to $80.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
