They are seeking a hands-on *Maintenance Manager* to lead maintenance operations at their facility in *Columbia, SC*.* *This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, improving preventative maintenance programs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence * **Key Responsibilities*** * * *Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians while fostering a hands-on, lead-by-example culture* * *Oversee daily maintenance activities, staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management* * *Develop, implement, and improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability* * *Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems* * *Analyze maintenance KPIs, downtime trends, and equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives* * *Utilize CMMS systems and maintenance data for planning, tracking, and decision-making* * *Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to ensure critical components are available* * *Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring failures* * *Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives* * *Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture* * *Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation* * *Drive 5S, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives across the maintenance function* * Qualifications: * * *Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered* * *5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments* * *Strong hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting* * *Experience managing preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems* * *Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement measurable improvements* * *Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and maintenance best practices* * *Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred* * *Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills* * *Experience with spare parts inventory management and equipment reliability strategies preferred* * *Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment* * Why is This a Great Opportunity: * * *Growth Opportunity: Opportunity to grow into an Operations Management role within the company over time, depending on performance and interest.* * *401(k) with matching* * *Health, Life, Vision, and Dental insurance* * *Employee assistance program* * *Paid time off*
