Evan Munsing for Congress is seeking a Finance Director to lead and scale the finance program of what is expected to be one of the most closely watched red-to-blue House races in the country in 2026.
Evan is a Marine combat veteran, business leader, and Independent Democrat running to flip Colorado's 8th Congressional District. Eager to serve and defend our country, Evan volunteered for the infantry during the surge. He deployed twice with the Marines, including to Afghanistan where he served as a military advisor to the Afghan Army. Since leaving the service, Evan has managed complex organizations with hundreds of employees, hired and coached CEOs, and invested millions into small businesses creating jobs for hard working Americans. Now, he's running to bring independent leadership back to Colorado and make sure everyone has the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.
Manage call time manager and any additional finance staff and interns.
Ensure effectiveness of call time program. Pull call lists, give input into targeting priorities, and oversee systems for effective follow-up.
Plan and staff events, managing event logistics and working with hosts to ensure goals are met.
Maintain finance databases, ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Maintain and update the finance plan, including monthly, quarterly, and eventually weekly projections.
Work with the compliance consultant to ensure proper FEC reporting.
At least one cycle of finance experience at the congressional level, or experience as a finance director on a state or local campaign.
Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and ready to juggle multiple priorities.
Experience working directly with donors.
Proficiency with NGP and ActBlue platforms.
Salary: $6000-8000 per month, commensurate with experience.
Location: Thornton, CO (Denver metro area)
Schedule: Full-time, campaign schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
Start Date: Flexible, immediate start preferred.
