Job description
Job Title Certified Nursing Assistant Job Summary This role is for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential direct care and engaging activities within a day health center located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The center serves a diverse population of day health clients, focusing on their well-being and daily support needs. The successful candidate will be integral to the daily operations, delivering comprehensive personal care, facilitating therapeutic interventions, and leading recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for clients in a structured day program environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct personal care, assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding, bathing, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and promptly report any observed abnormal signs or symptoms. Implement restorative care techniques, including assisting with assistive devices, range of motion exercises, and bowel/bladder training. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring proper body mechanics and safety protocols are followed. Engage clients in supportive, therapeutic, and recreational activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Adhere strictly to universal precautions and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Administer basic first aid as required and report incidents promptly.
