Job description
About the Role:
Intervention Group Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Assistant to join our team in Oakland, CA. Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare invoices, billing statements, and payment records accurately and on time
  • Review and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy before submission
  • Respond to client and internal billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve outstanding account issues
  • Maintain and update client account information in billing systems
  • Assist with accounts receivable tracking and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Generate billing reports and support month-end closing processes
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related administrative finance role
  • Proficiency in billing software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or business preferred
