Materials Management Lead

You will report directly to our Senior Director ISC Project Management, and work from one of the following locations in Houston, TX, Rosemont, IL, Mobile, AL, Charlotte, NC or Shreveport, LA on a Hybrid work schedule.

The Materials Management Lead role plays a critical role in the successful delivery of Project Helix, Honeywell's SAP S4 HANA ERP implementation for the Process Technology (PT) business. This role serves as the SME, ensuring end-to-end manufacturing planning through inventory management, to delivery processes are designed, configured, and deployed in alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices and Honeywell's global operating model.

You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across end-to-end process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements and support overall organization success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary business and process translator for a S4 HANA project converting operational and planning requirements into standardized, scalable SAP S4 HANA solutions
• Provide inventory management and planning expertise to guide system design decisions, exception handling, and execution models across global PT operations
• Lead the configuration and validation of inventory requirements supporting process designs in close partnership with ISC manufacturing planning and production stakeholders
• Drive process simplification and global standardization, ensure alignment with one Honeywell operating model
• Collaborate with process owners, functional leads, and IT to gather requirements, assess gaps, and implement system enhancements
• Validate user stories and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and realization of defined business outcomes
• Proactively identify gaps, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate project risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong SAP ERP knowledge in manufacturing environment including ERP implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of materials management, operations, inventory management, procurement logistics, and manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize material flow.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• S4 HANA ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Six Sigma Certification.

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000- 128,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
