Job description
Remote Order Verification Pharmacist – Telepharmacy | Work From Home | Flexible Shifts Including Overnight Use your verification skills from the comfort of home. As a Remote Order Verification Pharmacist (Telepharmacist), you will review and approve medication orders electronically for hospitals and clinics — protecting patients while enjoying remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, dosing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors before approval.
  • Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site pharmacy staff.
  • Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
  • Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
  • Participate in quality-assurance initiatives that improve medication safety.
What You’ll Bring
  • Education: PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Active U.S. pharmacist license (multi-state preferred).
  • Experience: Hospital or community order verification preferred. Pharmacists transitioning from other settings are welcome.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and comfort with technology platforms.
