Junior Buyer
We are seeking a Service & Repair Material Replenishment buyer to support our global Service & Repair organization. You will manage and optimize inventory flow for medical device service and repair operations, ensuring continuity of supply while maintaining targeted inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Source, purchase, plan, and schedule raw materials, components, finished goods, tooling, indirect materials, and services.
- Create purchase orders and manage supplier forecasts.
- Develop dashboards and reports for inventory visibility and replenishment tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply gaps.
- Expedite materials and resolve supplier delivery issues.
- Manage PO-to-invoice discrepancies, returns, and quality-related supplier concerns.
- Support supplier onboarding, selection, and negotiations.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, warehouse, quality, and planning teams.
- Participate in production reviews and supplier meetings to maintain supply continuity.
- Support inventory reconciliation and vendor inventory management activities.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience in indirect or direct sourcing.
- Exposure to materials planning or replenishment planning.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP or JD Edwards.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in material planning, replenishment planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within regulated industries such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or supply chain analytics tools.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting and advanced planning systems.
- Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction), EOL (End of Life), BOM management, and reorder point planning.
- Supplier negotiation and cost analysis experience.
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Tableau, demand planning, or advanced planning tools preferred.
Work Environment
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Employment Type: Indefinite contractor, starting at 1-year duration. Professional office setting supporting supply chain, production, engineering, warehouse, and service operations.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
