Quality Assurance Manager
Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Miami, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to work onsite for an opportunity starting at $90K, flexible, based on experience and credentials. This position owns the quality systems side of an FAA Part 145 repair station supporting commercial aircraft, including manuals, audits, document control, training, and corrective action programs. The ideal candidate is a systems-minded quality professional with strong technical writing skills and a proactive, prevention-focused approach to compliance.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Manager:
8 to 10 or more years in quality assurance within an FAA Part 145 repair station
Commercial aircraft experience with Airbus and Boeing platforms required, with landing gear exposure highly valued
Thorough knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience authoring quality manuals and company procedures
Proven background planning and managing internal, external, and regulatory audits
Hands-on experience with corrective action and CAPA systems
Excellent technical writing and analytical capabilities
AS9100 or ISO experience is a plus
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:
Maintain and revise the Quality Control Manual and all supporting company procedures
Manage document control, quality records, and qualification and recurrent training files
Plan and execute internal audit schedules while coordinating external and regulatory audits
Track FAA findings through closure and lead CAPA investigations to root cause
Monitor regulatory changes and update systems proactively before issues arise
Build employee quality training programs and reporting around quality KPIs
Support AS9100 and ISO initiatives where applicable
Partner with production teams on process improvement
Support as needed
