Job Title Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care for a 13-week contract assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult patient population with various medical and surgical conditions in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, post-operative care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Perform wound care, IV insertion, and other nursing procedures as required. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred Qualifications Not specified.
