Overview

The Project Manager will support the client's Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) division in the planning, coordination, and execution of a multi-year facility expansion project, including modifications to an existing manufacturing building and the construction of an additional facility extension. • Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project execution.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, contractor, and construction activities to support project objectives.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
  • Track project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and key decisions to project stakeholders.
  • Support contractor management, procurement activities, field coordination, and construction oversight as required.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed in accordance with project requirements and established timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience managing or supporting industrial facility, manufacturing, or capital improvement projects, with additional experience preferred.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background with the ability to review technical information and coordinate engineering activities.
  • Experience coordinating with engineering consultants, contractors, equipment vendors, and construction teams.
  • Strong understanding of project execution within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is not required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
