Introduction Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Sr. GIS Programmer position. This position is a contract hire opportunity in Towson, MD will be a hybrid work schedule (three days onsite and two days remote), for a duration of six months. Qualified candidates would have the following: * Required: Five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python. * Required: Minimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API's, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDK's, and ArcSDE * Required: Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python * Required: Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures. * Required: Development of reports using SSRS, Power BI * Preferred: Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred) · Preferred: Excellent Communication Skills · Preferred: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and five years' experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field. · Preferred: Recent engagement with a government entity ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Visium Resources is an award-winning employment firm with a mission to match talented individuals with highly successful organizations.
