Job description
PrideStaff has immediate openings for two Material Handlers for our lumber distribution client, located in Denver. These are temp to hire opportunities with a well established company
Job Description:
- Operating a forklift and by hand, unload various building materials and place into inventory
- Receive goods into inventory
- Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping of products
- Build customer orders according to scanners or hand written orders and prepare for shipment or delivery
- Load orders onto trucks for delivery
- Process return items and place in inventory
- Assist in periodic inventory
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of fork lift /material handler experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of building materials
- Able to read and accurately fill customer orders
- Ability to measure to 1/16th of an inch
- Experience operating a forklift
- Desire to work outdoors in the elements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good safety record
- Willing to work over time
