In Process Inspector

In Process Inspector- 2 contract jobs (3-6 months) One on 1st shift: M-F 6AM-2:30PM ; One on 2nd shift: M-F 2:30pm - 11:00PM- SUMMARYThe In process Inspector will perform quality checks and verification activities concerning product and process conformity to quality standards. This candidate will work with all departments to achieve customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality products. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Performs daily in-process and out-going inspection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) to IPC and J-STD quality standards-Initiates non-conformance reports and processes based on QA inspections-Works directly with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, customers and vendors to provide quality feedback and resolve issues-Ensures established procedures are followed throughout all QA processes -Evaluates quality data (NCR, CAR, OQA) and provides feedback to improve overall quality-Performs other duties as required TRAINING:-Controlled Goods Policy & Procedural Training-Controlled Goods Application-Orientation-ESD-WHMIS CD-HR Policies (Respect & Dignity in the Workplace, Leave of Absence, etc.)-Health & Safety Orientation-Quality Policy Awareness-IPC-A-610 Specialist-IPC CD-18 Component Identification-J-STD-001 Certified IPC Specialist-Moisture Sensitive Devices - DVD 79C-Work Instruction (WI-40, 54, 159, 49, 16, 111, 133-Quality Procedure (QP-10, 11, 211, 19)-Quality Forms (QF-37) QUALIFICATIONS-Minimum one (1) year of related experience in electronics manufacturing-Experience checking and verifying activities concerned with product and process conformity to quality standards -Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards is preferable-Comfortable navigating a computer and intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)-Good verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail-Ability to work well independently and comfortable working with all levels of personnel-Available for shift work and overtime hours (weekdays and weekends) PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee in this role will be sitting, standing and walking as needed. -Occasional lifting and handling loads less than 10 pounds and rarely lifting 25 pounds or more-Occasional bending and squatting-Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions).
