Compensation Analyst
Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Compensation Analyst to join a corporate team in Denver, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical, data-driven professional who enjoys working with large amounts of information, identifying trends, and supporting compensation projects across a global organization.
This position will initially be offered as a 34 month contract, with the potential to transition into a long-term/permanent opportunity for the right person. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working in Excel and enterprise systems, and able to navigate large amounts of employee and compensation data without becoming overwhelmed.

The Compensation Analyst will support a variety of global compensation and HR projects, with a significant focus on data management, job mapping, benchmarking, salary structures, and maintaining accurate employee and job information.
This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with data and is comfortable digging into large spreadsheets, comparing information, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring data is accurate and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support several global compensation and HR projects, including updating career guides and job families.
- Assist with significant data updates involving job information, career paths, job families, and employee data.
- Perform job matching, job profiling, and compensation benchmarking.
- Analyze compensation market data and assist with updating salary structures.
- Map jobs to appropriate compensation structures and ensure job information is accurately aligned.
- Enter and maintain employee information within internal compensation tools.
- Perform data cleanup and validation, including employee emails, job data, role mapping, and other employee information.
- Review large amounts of data and identify discrepancies or information that requires additional research.
- Work extensively in Excel and other internal systems to organize, analyze, and maintain compensation data.
- Collaborate with team members and global partners on compensation-related projects and initiatives.
- Support the team with additional compensation and data-related projects as needed.

- Comfortable learning internal systems and processes quickly.
- Strong in Excel and experienced working with HR, compensation, or employee data.
Systems & Technical Skills:
Excel will be a major part of this position, so candidates should be very comfortable working with spreadsheets and large amounts of data.
The team currently works with an older Oracle EBS environment. Experience with other established HR/enterprise systems such as SAP, UltiPro/UKG, or Workday may translate well to this role, particularly candidates who have experience working with more traditional, established systems and large datasets.
Schedule & Flexibility:
The standard schedule is MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM. There is some flexibility when needed for things such as school drop-off or other personal scheduling needs.
Because this is a global team, there will occasionally be early morning meetings around 6:30 AM MST. Employees can participate in these meetings from home and then transition into the office for the remainder of their workday.
Team Environment:
The Compensation team is led by the Senior Manager. This position will work closely with the compensation team and global partners on a variety of projects and initiatives.
The team is looking for someone who is curious, analytical, collaborative, and genuinely enjoys working with data.
Contract & Long-Term Opportunity:
This position will begin as a 34 month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent opportunity. The organization will also be recruiting for the long-term position, but a strong contractor who proves to be a great fit could certainly be considered for the permanent opportunity.
