Overview

Currently licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health? Then you already did the hard part. Farmers Insurance Team KC wants to put that license to work and pay you a sign-on bonus once you start selling.

We are hiring licensed insurance professionals as Associate Agents. You can start selling right away under one of the most trusted names in insurance. Our district team coaches and supports you, and you have a clear path to becoming a Farmers agent. You get paid commission for every policy you sell!

Your Bonus Package

• $250 sign-on bonus. Your sign-on bonus is paid when you are appointed as an Associate Agent.
• $750 milestone bonus. Receive an additional $750 bonus once you’ve sold your first 10 policies
• We supplement your leads. Our office provides direct warm transfer leads in addition to leads sourced by you through your network
• Uncapped commission. Earn full commission on every policy you write, auto, home, umbrella, life, and more. You also earn renewal commission on the customers you keep.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prospect for new customers through your network, referrals and other lead sources.
• Qualify prospects and understand their coverage needs.
• Quote and sell policies across the full Farmers product portfolio.
• Service your customers and support renewals.
• Track your prospecting, quoting and sales activity in company systems.

What We’re Looking For

• An active Property & Casualty or Life & Health license. An active license is required to receive the sign-on bonus.
• Prior sales, customer service, management or other relevant professional experience.
• A self-starter who is comfortable with commission-based income and wants to build a book of business.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.

Requirements/Skills

• Must be 18 years or older

• Life & Health Insurance License
• Satisfactory results of a background check
• Completion of University of Farmers training program
• Basic computer skills and own a laptop
